"When I stepped into the job as office manager for a family practice office, I knew nothing about the world of Quality Measures, MIPS, HEDIS, etc. After struggling for two years to navigate the maze, I continued to find myself frustrated not knowing why we were not meeting our goals. I reached out to Melissa McMurtry, an independent MIPS/MACRA Specialist. This has proven by far to be one of the best decisions I have made as an office manager for our practice. Melissa has a way of immediately making you feel like it is all going to be ok. She logged into our ECW to look at how we had it set up and were documenting records, and she sent me a proposal outlining her detailed suggestions. She worked a lot behind the scenes mapping ECW in addition to working with our staff and providing them with detailed, yet simple instructions on how to properly document to successfully capture our measures. Not only is Melissa excellent in mapping and setting up ECW to be more efficient, she has been a tremendous help in coordinating several integration projects with ECW. Additionally, she has gone above and beyond providing assistance during attestation time to ensure all questions were answered to the best degree, and appropriately. After completing our first proposal with Melissa, we signed a second proposal to continue improvements with our ECW. We will be continuing to work with Melissa as our ECW Consultant upon completing our second proposal. She is a must have for any physician’s office. I thoroughly enjoy working with Melissa. She has a positive can-do energy and extensive knowledge of ECW that can only be a plus to any physician’s office considering utilizing her Consulting Services as we all struggle to navigate the ever-changing overwhelming requirements."
